I have always been one to lend a hand to those in need. I never imagined that my passion for music would somehow collide into this field as well. But, stranger things have happened.  When "Open Your Eyes" was created, I never knew the magnitude of its message. Today, I understand fully why 285,000 people and counting are touched by my song. I am proud to be a D.S.P. and a Child Care Worker promoting awareness for the younger generation so that they can see the importance of their job. My new song on what were doing about the crisis "Call To Action" is sure to have the same impact.  I am now a founding member of the Direct Support Professional Alliance of New York State (DSPANYS) and a member of the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) as well. I am very proud of my accomplishments as a D.S.P. and one day soon we ALL will be seen as PROFESSIONALS !  In my travels I have recieved the Excellence Award in New York State for my video. I have recieved the You Need To Know Me Ancor Award for my video and I was part of recieving the Moving Mountains Award alongside the New York State Association of Community and Residential Activities or NYSACRA, whom I'd like to mention took me under their wing and gave my voice a chance to be heard. And very recently
I was awarded the Frank Mulhern Scholarship along side another gentleman for exemplary service to the
call of people with disabilities. I am very proud of these achievements.
